Monthly Newsletter
Room 23’s November Newsletter
October has proven to be quite a “high performance” month. In class we kept busy with getting ready for Halloween. We made a “Paul Klee” Halloween picture and Jack-o-Lanterns. All of the decorations made our classroom ready for Halloween and the party. What a great way to end the month!
We had fun on our field trip to the Lindsay Museum in October. The students seemed to enjoy themselves and learned a lot about our local animals and how they adapt to our environment. Each student received a free pass to go back and see all the wonderful exhibits. There is much more there that we didn’t cover.
Of course the big event in October was Conference Week. It was nice to meet with all of you and go over the third grade curriculum. Thank you for all your support. I feel like we make a great team!!
We all looked forward to seeing the ancestor dolls come in. Such talent! I hope much was learned as you helped your child through the work. I am looking forward to the artifact reports during the first week of November. Speaking of the first week, this Wednesday we are having our first Lunch Bunch. I hope to see many of you for our book talk!!
Be sure to mark November 11th down on your calendar for Veteran’s Day. November also means our report cards will be coming out. We will be sending home report cards on Wednesday, November 18th. The second biggest event is Thanksgiving Week. I know we are all looking forward to our week off to be with our families. Enjoy!
Until December,
Mrs. Georgia Moore
